Beginning of Time

This is an experiment.

I've been so fond of so many blogs for so long I've decided to start my own to see if I have anything interesting to say.

My name is Anastasia, Stazzi for short. And no, it's not my real name. Some day I might be brave enough to post my real name, but for now, I'd like to do some blogging about my family, work and life and anonymity seems safe-ish.

Yes, I'm sure there are plenty of people out there who could find me out in a New York minute. Good for you. I'm sure your life is very exciting. Mine isn't. Seriously. I'm blogging because I'd like to get some of my thoughts down on "paper." I'm using a free blog because no one but me is going to find any of this drek interesting.

I am a legal assistant in a small firm in a medium size town. I work too hard. Have for years, but managed a great family (nothing but luck really - more on that later) through it all.

I enjoy the legal field. I find it a rather interesting mix of droll office work and running around in heels yelling "OH HOLY SHIT!" Considering I'm a rather big girl and wear rather high heels, this is really something to see. I'll take pictures sometime. Really.

Now, on to the name. When I was little, I hated the song "Time in a Bottle." It came on the other day and I found myself listening to the lyrics rather intently, then I felt old, then stupid, then rather...well, old again. I decided to embrace my inner old lady. So here I am. Deal.

In closing. Hi there! Grab a cup of coffee. I promise I will eventually say something interesting. Even if it's only by accident.
